Catherine Abelema Afeku, Member of Parliament (MP) for Evalue-Gwira in the Western Region has reiterated the need for her constituences to bury their political and ethnic diffrences and work in unity to develop the area. She said since no one except the constituents themselves could work to develop the constituency, there was the need to mobilize all internal human and material resources to develop their communities and the constituency as a whole.
Hon. Afeku gave this advice these when she inaugurated a wooden bridged spanning Rivers Nyamebuli at Adekelezo in the constituency. The bridge was constructed with money from the MP’s share of Common Fund and would serve the people of Ahunyame and Averbo, both in the constituency.
Ho. afeku expressed her gratitude to the people for turning up in numbers for the inauguration ceremony and appealed to them to co-operate with her office to ensure the area’s development.
